IT'S your birthday again,
and I know what you'd say —
"Write a little poem for me;
you know it makes my day."
You'd say my little poem
and the flowers were enough,
Since you knew there were times
I couldn't buy fancy stuff.
YOU'D remind me that "to have a friend
you need first to be a friend";
To get my answers all from God,
for life's questions have no end.
You'd find delight
in the simplest flowers,
Yet smile on our lives
with your finest hours.
THE grave cannot hold
the essence of mankind.
A mother's true worth
is in what's left behind —
the light of her smile and her gentle touch,
her words of wisdom, and her acts of love.
Happy birthday Mama. Love, Trisha 9/16/2025
